China And Russia Are Homeys Again Thanks To Trump’s Tariffs And Sanctions

The news coming out of Europe is different depending on what story people like the best. There’s the Trump’s story about not calling Meghan Markle “nasty,” or seeing thousands of protestors claiming he is a nationalistic fool. Mr. Trump said he only saw a couple of protestors and they were cool. And he never called Meghan nasty even though she said nasty things about him.

The ninety-minute conversation Trump had with Prince Charles about climate change was another chance for him to claim the U.S. has the cleanest air in the world. Mr. Trump didn’t seem to know the difference between the weather and the climate. He knows the storms and floods are an issue, but those changes have nothing to do with humans, according to the president.

Mr. Trump had a hard time staying awake while the queen buttered him with Royal English diplomacy. The U.K. will need a new trade deal when they leave the EU. Trump said he wants to give the Brits a fair deal, but he also wants U.S. corporations to have complete access to the British market. Trump wants England to give him what he just took away from China when he banned Huawei.

The Chinese don’t want to get back in the negotiating saddle with Mr. Trump. China is quietly messing with Trump’s economy while he thinks he’s winning the war. Chinese tourists spent $34.4 billion in the United States in 2018. The government sent out a warning that said the U.S. police are in harassment mode and criminals want to take Chinese tourist money. China also gave new American soybean contracts to Brazil. Those lost contracts will cost American farmers billions.

Government economists put out a projected GDP report for the second quarter of 2019. In the first quarter, the economy grew by 3.3 percent. But the second quarter projection is only 1.9 percent. Trump’s tariffs, his lame tax cut, and his foreign policy decisions hurt economic growth. Most economists think the U.S. will be on the doorstep of a recession at the end of 2019.

The president’s trade bullying gave Putin a chance to mend fences with President Xi. President Xi is in Russia to make sure Trump doesn’t start a war with Iran. Xi told the press Putin has his back if Trump continues to bully China. He’s also in Russia to attend Putin’s economic forum while Trump spreads his special brand of snake oil all over England.
